Allowances

Use the Allowance page to define the non-taxable allowances available for staff members. Non-taxable allowances are payments made to staff that are not subject to income tax.

The Allowance page follows the standard List Page Actions paradigm. Editing is in-place.

These are the fields available for each non-taxable allowance:

NameTextThe name of the allowance.
Filing CodeTextUnique code used to identify payments for this allowance on pay slips and income tax filings.
Annual AmountMoneyThe total annual amount of the allowance. This amount will be divided across the pay periods so that the sum of all payments during the year will equal this for a staff member.
