Season Maintenance

The Season Maintenance page provides an interface for managing Season records in the system. Seasons are used to group on-farm activities, inputs and outputs into time periods that work for your farming system. Seasons can be used to report on and plan for the future.

Seasons can be divided into any time period that works for your farming system. They do not have to match calendar or financial years, or the natural seasons of the year. They may match the growing or milking season, or any other regular division of time that works for the farming-system.

To access the Season Maintenance page, use the

• System\Seasons menu option.

The Season List follows the standard List Page Actions paradigm.

The list supports Standard Actions with an embedded editor for season properties.

A season must have start date and a name. The name will be defaulted to the year of the start date when the date is changed. You can change the name as required.

The Planned Start of Mating field is optional. Not all farming system will use it.
